Can I go to a Spa whilst pregnant?

February 8, 2019

Can you go to the spa whilst pregnant?

You can absolutely go to the Spa during pregnancy and you should, you deserve it!

It’s a wonderful way to relax and luxuriate in the tranquility and treatments on offer, rest your aching feet and back and let your worries drift away.

We would love to tailor a package to suit your needs, as there are a few recommendations for treatments which are suitable during pregnancy. These are detailed below and ensure you and baby are safe and comfortable.

Our beauticians have experience treating women during pregnancy and you will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

If you have a pregnant friend or partner then a day at the spa is a thoughtful gift to leave them feeling fabulous. They will thank you for it, trust us.

Our trained beauty therapists can give treatments suited to all stages of pregnancy, so just relax and we can put together the perfect package for you.

Whilst it is not recommended to have a massage or any pressure point treatments before your second trimester it, why not indulge in a manicure or pedicure instead?

For many women their first trimester is the most difficult, with morning sickness and hormonal changes aplenty. Make the most of our facilities and go for a soothing swim, or just relax and let our beautician give you a gorgeous manicure.

With your first trimester and morning sickness behind you, you deserve to be pampered!

Now you can enjoy our full range of treatments, so what better time to go to the spa?

Why not indulge in a facial which will leave you feeling refreshed and glowing, or drift into relaxation with a luxurious massage and help ease your aching back or neck. Our massage can be personalised for your pregnancy, so you can relax on your side or in a chair, whichever you feel most comfortable with.

During all stages of pregnancy NHS advice is that you shouldn’t go in the sauna, steam room, or water above 35C (95F) as you run the risk of overheating. However with all the other treatments and facilities we have on offer you won’t be missing out in the slightest.

Going to the spa is a great way to relieve some of the normal discomforts of pregnancy, enjoy some ‘me time’ and leave feeling stress free and pampered, so we hope to welcome you soon.
